The Choice!

I chose to live a life where no one can tell me what I cannot do. I chose to push through every doubt and every depressing thought to prove to myself that I am better than what the world has deemed me to be. I chose to live a God driven life. I want to be more, I want to do more and I want to set the example.

My daughters live a life where they are told daily that they are beautiful, strong, smart and one of a kind. They only know a life where God is their everything. They live a life where mommy and daddy work hard to make sure they don’t go without. They are surrounded by love, affection, ministry and family. They consistently hear how important education is and how the sky is the limit. They only know a life where it is completely normal to dress up as princesses 7 days a week.

I chose a life that allows me to be influential to my children. That one day they can say I came from a loving, motivational, encouraging, spiritual and all around crazy family. I chose a life where I can show my girls that if you work hard for what you want you can accomplish it. A life that speaks for itself. My past does not define me!

I chose a life for them!

It bothers me when people say that once you have children your life stops. I disagree 100%. My life began when I started having children. Your passion to achieve your goal should have increased once you became a mom. Reach for that dream so your children can see how hard you worked to get there. So they know that if mom can do it they can too. Push past the negativity, the comments and the denials. Live your life in faith everyday, allowing the only thing to come out of your mouth to be positive. Know that God is in control of your life and in the end you will win.

Chose to live a life that only you can live! A life that makes you happy and that displays who you are as a person. Choose a life that is surrounded by love. Just because your childhood was difficult doesn’t mean your kids have to be. Make the executive decision that your children will have a better childhood than you. When you chose to live a positive life, negativity has no place in it.

Everyday that you wake up command your day to be a great one. A day that is overflowing with opportunity and positivity. Don’t gage your day depending on how Dunkin makes your coffee. You have the ability to live a great life surrounded by great people but you have to stop allowing your past determine your future. If you don’t like the way your life is going, change it. You have the ability to choose the life you live. Now what you do with that choice determines your future.
